Privacy Policy

AI YouTube Shorts Generator is operated by BookAI Studio, a DBA of BrightSpan Holdings LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the service handles and how it is used.

What the service does

You paste a YouTube video URL, choose how many clips you want and an aspect ratio, and the service produces short vertical clips from that video: the source video is downloaded, its audio is transcribed, the transcript is analysed to find and rank the strongest moments, and each selected highlight is cropped to the aspect ratio you chose. The service has no user accounts and no sign-in, and we do not ask for payment information on this site.

Information we process

The YouTube URL you submit, together with your clip settings (number of clips, aspect ratio, language if you set one), is sent through our server to MuAPI, the platform that performs the download, the Whisper transcription, the LLM highlight ranking and the auto-crop rendering for this service. MuAPI processes the source video and returns a transcript, ranked highlights and hosted URLs for the finished clips. Our server keeps the job status and processing log in memory while your job runs and writes the job result (including the transcript, the highlight list and the clip URLs) to a result file on our server so the finished job can be displayed to you. Like most websites, our servers keep standard operational logs (such as IP address, timestamps and pages requested) for security and reliability.

What we do not store ourselves

This deployment keeps no database of its own and has no user accounts: job state lives in server memory and is discarded when the server restarts, and finished clips are hosted by MuAPI, not in a BookAI Studio database. We do not sell personal information. Only submit videos that are yours or that you have the right to reuse, and do not submit URLs that expose private or personal content about other people.

Sharing

We share data only with the processor needed to run the service: MuAPI (video download, transcription, highlight ranking, clip rendering and clip hosting) and YouTube, which serves the source video you link to. Operational logs stay with our hosting infrastructure.

Your choices

Because we hold no account database for this service, there is no profile for us to export or delete; job records are transient and result files can be removed on request. If you have a privacy question about a video or clip you submitted here, contact BookAI Studio and we will help remove it where we are able to.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Last updated: October 24, 2026.
